The first thing you do is not always the right thing...
Are you experiencing hamstring issues? maybe pulled it running or playing football?
The first thing most people do and often it should be one of the last things is to stretch it.. stretching has its place within rehabilitation, but you cannot simply go and stretch hamstring injuries, or hammer the yoga this will slow/prevent correct healing.
Firstly get it diagnosed as different injuries respond differently to treatment and require alternative management plans, in the first few days use ice (Rember: RICE-rest, ice, compression, elevation), then depending on the injury treatment specific movement exercise’s, possible strapping and only when there is no pain within the exercise plan, should there be a return to sport.. a hasty return often results in re-injury.
